Abbi Falls : Abbi literllay meaning “falls” in the local dialect, is a beautiful waterfall located 5kms from Madikeri in a private coffee estate.

Bhagamandala : This place is a temple town situated 30 kms from Madikeri. Here Cauvery is at its confluence with river Kannike and Sujyothi.

Cauvery Nisarga Dhama : On the Mysore-Madikeri Road, this picnic spot was established in 1988. This is a man-made 65 acre island.

Irupu Falls : Enroute to Nagarhole this breathtakingly beautiful waterfall is also a point of religious importance.

MERCARA : 252 kms from Bangalore and 1525 m above sea level lies Madikeri or Mercara, the district headquarters of Kodagu.

NAGARHOLE : The place derives its name from the winding river - Nagarhole meaning "snake river" - which flows through the park.

Omkareshwara Temple : Built by Kodagu King Lingaraja in 1820, this temple is remarkable for its square shape and impressive dome in the center with four minarets.

TALACAUVVERY : River Kaveri which is one of the 7 sacred rivers of Sapta Sindhus of the Hindu scriptures, originated at a place called Talakaveri in the Brahmagiri hills.

VALANOOR : Valanoor, 30 kms.from Mercara, the back waters of river Cauvery is one of the most beautiful Angling sites in Karnataka.
